The mostly dry and mild climate is a very important asset to the region, together with the lack of any industry nearby, allow you to holiday outside all year round. The climate is one of the best in Spain, with average temperatures of 15C/59F in winter and 25C/77F in summer.
The vast majority of the towns and villages in the 'Costa del Azahar' hold some kind of local festival. In the summer time the whole area becomes a fiesta. You will be spoilt for choice which to choose and everyone is welcome to watch or even to take part.
The annual Harley Davidson and Custom Meeting is a unique event. It takes place in Alcossebre, every first weekend of September. After a ride through town, all motor bikes will be lined up at promenade and members of meeting will enjoy a meal (paella of course). There is a market were clothing and accessories can be purchased. Every Tuesday there is a local market that stretches along the promenade and through the adjoining streets.
