About this deal

Various notches allow for the Trivets to be inserted in different positions as required and ensure sufficient air supply between flame and cookware. In the right conditions it can warm you slightly too, and although not intended to be overfilled, it can give moral boosting heat and light for an overnight camp.

It comes in a rugged, hard wearing canvas type envelope with a velcro seal to keep the contents secure.I have been a long-time user of wood-burning stoves and have owned most of the common ones on the market at the present time.

Start with some birch bark or other tinder, then just add a handful of thin twigs, then some thicker ones, or pine cones. I can't wait to get it fired up now, but having seen other reviews on here and on YouTube I have no reservations about it performing well. Attached on top of the Bushbox XL Titanium it makes an excellent grill or provides a solid platform for smaller pots and cups. Cooking above the heat source via the grill plate is also a very excellent option, that I would suggest to anyone that wishes to cook in this manner. Don't get a smaller one to save money/weight - the firebox in this XL one can sustain a fire for 5min without refuelling, but a smaller one would need constant attention less time for cooking.Recommended use: trekking Material type: stainless steel Fuel types: dry fuel Packed dimensions: Mounted dimensions: 190 x 125 x 120 mm; Packed dimensions: 125 x 190 x 10 mm Weight: 765 g Extras: wind shield Item No. The XL version is what i would consider a rather small tool, i'd dread to think how small the actually small version is and how much less use it would be due to the size factor. It comes as shown, wrapped together as a flat plate, it's about as flat and wide as a DVD box, i kid you not!
