The repeater has a small hole in the front. Use a paperclip or something similar to push the button inside for 5 seconds. A white LED will start blinking and the it should pair. For some reason this took me a couple of tries. The blinds are reasonable fast, they take around 35 seconds to fully close the around 180cm high window. They work pretty quiet but you can still hear the motor. It is quiet enough to not be a nuisance during the day but you might not want to move them while someone is still sleeping in the room. You may not have heard of Moes, but they’ve been around for a while and have a wide range of low cost smart home devices across many categories. This is their newest tubular blind motor model, and offers both 433MHz RF and Zigbee for wireless control. The RF is used primarily to connect to their wireless remote controls, for which there are handheld and wall mounted options with single or multiple blind support. These are the best option when you consider value for money, quality, and compatibility options in one set of smart blinds or shades. Speed is a different matter, with the motor being the slowest of the motors I’ve tested so far (Soma Smart Shades 2, Terncy Smart Blinds, Aqara E1, Omnia SmartBlinds). The window it covers has a 130cm/51.2in drop, with the blinds taking around 43 seconds to complete the down journey. That’s still not bad unless you’re in a real hurry;

We also know not everyone wants to spend more money on buying a separate hub to connect their blinds too, so we wanted to offer different options for all. Retrofit solutions designed to convert your existing blinds into motorized, smart ones tend to include a variety of limitations, so they often end up being more costly or otherwise less appealing than buying brand-new smart blinds. However, the Soma Smart Shades 2 can be a worthwhile upgrade to blinds or shades that use a beaded chain or cord. The Sunsa app provides direct control over as many blinds as you like, and these can be group arbitrarily as required for easier control. Once installed with compatible windows 23 inches to 74 inches wide, all of your main controls are handled by the Tilt MySmartRollerShades app. The iOS and Android apps connect via Bluetooth. Set schedules, enable sunrise/sunset functions for raising and lowering your blinds, and make adjustments all from your preferred mobile device. Keep in mind that because the app is powered by Bluetooth and not Wi-Fi, you'll need to operate your motorized blinds while at home. If you want on-the-go controls, there are several options.
