The Ace of Spades Rosé Champagne was first produced in 2008, along with the Blanc de Blancs Silver cuvée. This rosé champagne is made from a blend of 50% Pinot Noir, 40% Pinot Meunier and 10% Chardonnay. On the nose, it offers a gorgeous red fruit bouquet of Morello cherries and a touch of spice. The palate is silky, with nice vinosity and freshness. Many people think the first French sparkling wines were made in Champagne, but that distinction goes to the region of Limoux.
