None of this is to say that the Arizer XQ2 is of poor quality however. Given it’s significantly lower price point that’s almost a third of the MSRP of the Volcano Hybrid, the XQ2 is surprisingly robust and well-made. The glass attachments that come with the kit such as the connoisseur bowl are top-notch. Our only gripes are with the balloon mouthpieces and covers which seem more of an afterthought when compared to design and implementation of the Hybrid’s system.All in all, the vapor quality produced by the Arizer Extreme Q2 is a slightly denser and more potent than the Extreme Q. The fan speed settings also play a large factor in this so your mileage may vary. The Volcano still manages to outperform the Arizer XQ2 (albeit marginally this time around) although not to the extent that you would think that the XQ2 is only half the price of the Volcano Classic. Not only does the display on the XQ2 offer a much higher resolution, the user interface is a lot cleaner and easier to read as well.
