From Austria to the United Kingdom, the acts will all be hoping to be named the winner of the Eurovision Song Contest 2023 and take the contest to their country next year. The organiser just needs to cut up the sheet with all the squares, fold them up and then pull one out at a time to eventually reveal your winner/winners. This year’s abomination is being held in Liverpool. Traditionally it would be held in the Ukraine given that last year’s winner was from that country. But with world events as they are, the UK’s 2008 Capital of Culture has been chosen. The semi-finals were determined purely by public vote, but the Grand Final retains a jury plus public vote system. When the last song has played – Mae Muller’s I Wrote a Song – voting will open. After that there will be some music performances, and then we are into the nail-biting result process.
Instead of numbers, our Euro Vision bingo cards contain sayings, events and clichés, most of which will probably happen throughout the night. The show airs on the BBC and is presented by the one and only Graham Norton. And to help you enjoy the clichés and tropes that will invariably pervade this bizarre extravaganza, we’ve created Eurovision bingo cards. How to Play Eurovision Bingo The show will be hosted by the British actress Hannah Waddingham, the British singer Alesha Dixon and the Ukrainian singer Julia Sanina. Of course, the beloved Graham Norton will also be joining the three presenters in the finale as no Eurovision Song Contest would be complete without him.
