Raisthorpe Manor’s 9ct Shimmering Toffee Caramel Vodka Liqueur is a smooth and tasty shot bursting with flavour and a hint of shimmering sparkle. Blending an ensemble of five caramels with our sugar beet vodka, our famous English Toffee Vodka oozes smooth layers of treacly goodness with a rich mouth feel, yet not too over-sweet or cloying. I always tell every step in a recipe and haven’t mentioned filtering here as the toffees have completely dissolved into the vodka and unlike fruit liqueurs etc there are no fibres to filter out, so don’t worry about filtering it. Add your vodka to a mason jar. It's important to have some kind of sealable container that your vodka fits in. A mason jar is ideal, but any kind of sealable container will do. Pour your vodka into the container. [1] X Research source I used a bag of toffees from the local Post Office. Werther’s Originals would also be a good choice. Just simple good old-fashioned plain toffees. Again, nothing fancy, please. How to make this toffee liqueurToffee vodka is so easy to make at home with this two ingredient, one step recipe, and a little time. There really is nothing to it. You just add your toffees to the vodka, shake them up and leave them to infuse. Let time do the rest. I adore toffee vodka. It is sweet and incredible easy to drink. It’s a fabulous winter beverage and it makes for the perfect Christmas gift. I have been making this recipe for years now and it’s always a big hit with the family and friends. To make toffee vodka you simply combine toffees with a nice quality vodka in a mason jar. Shake the toffee vodka together every few hours until the sweets dissolve, and then pour into a bottle ready for drinking or gifting. Seal and swirl the jar to mix. Leave for 5 days to a week, giving your toffee vodka time to infuse. Swirl regularly to help the toffees to melt. You can stand the jar next to a radiator to speed up the process if you need to.
