Removing the bottom panel isn’t a hard job. There are 12 Phillips-head screws that have to be undone and after that, you can pry the bottom plate with a plastic tool. The cooling fan is audible under heavy stress but it’s not crazy loud at all. Unfortunately, you’re going to hear the fan noise no matter the load.
