Mario is a young farmhand who works for Mia's grandpa Renzo. He debuts in season two. Like Mia, he cares deeply for all kinds of animals and does not mind doing dirty chores. Mario rides a motorized bike that he and Mia use to travel around Italy. Xolana, Shiva and Lasita are a trio of female elves who debut in the second season. They all have crushes on Mo and try to impress him. Xolana acts as the leader of the group. Violetta is Mia's bully. She is a snobbish, self-centered girl who is always trying to ruin Mia's fun. For most of the first two seasons, Violetta is the villain of the live-action segments. In season two, she journeys to Centopia after finding a piece of Mia's bracelet. She redeems herself and becomes Mia's friend. Vittorio di Nola is Violetta's kind and caring father. He is divorced from the Contessa. Unlike his ex-wife, he cares deeply for Violetta, and he is friends with Mia and Mario.

Lyria is Onchao's mother and the first unicorn met by Mia. She is the queen of unicorns and is white with a pink mane. She is kind, wise and courageous, and she sacrificed herself to save her son. In the second season, Mia spends her summer holiday at grandpa Renzo's farm. There she also meets Mario who later learns about her ability to travel to Centopia. In this season there is a new antagonist named Rixel who wants to catch Onchao. Mia's bully Violetta ends up discovering Mia's secret during the second half of season 2 in " My Name is Varia", after finding a slice of Mia's Pebble bracelet which allows her to transform into an elf whenever Mia travels to Centopia. While in Centopia, Violetta pretends to be an elf named Varia to hide her true identity from Mia. As Varia, Violetta becomes one of Mia's allies joining Mia and her friends on their adventures, though is reluctant to tell them her true identity. As a result, Violetta begins to be shown in a more sympathetic light, as her connections with her father are disrupted by her mother Countess Di Nola. In the end, Violetta takes over her antagonistic role in the real world as her mother (the Countess) begins eyeing Grandpa Renzo's farm to expand the Di Nola Family estate and interferes with her daughter Violetta's relationship with her father, Victorio. Contessa di Nola is Violetta's mother. She is a rich and selfish countess who mistreats Violetta. She hates Mia and Renzo, and she wants to take Renzo's farm away from him.Kyara is Onchao's younger sister, another winged unicorn who is born in season three. She is just learning to fly. Baby Blue is a blue-scaled dragon who is friendly to the elves and Onchao. Onchao helps him learn to fly when he is a baby. Yuko is an acrobatic and tomboyish elf warrior. She is one of the best fighters in the kingdom and is very confident in battle. She is one of Mia's allies in Centopia along with Mo. Yuko and Mo have romantic feelings for each other.

Gargona is Panthea's general in the first season. She continues to appear in season two, where she allies with Rixel. There are six main live-action characters: Mia, Vincent, Paula, Violetta, Mario, and Sara. All six of them find out about Centopia. These six characters are also the only ones from the real world who discover Centopia. This is a list of notable characters in Mia and Me.
